Carson City- graphite pencil artist Jay Greig creates artworks which are detailed and portray a variety of themes. For his artworks, he uses a wide variety
of pencils for the creation of his paintings.
His drawings have won a
number of awards in numerous national and international juried shows. The
Salmagundi Club, American Artists Professional League, Allied Artists of
America, and Audubon Artists are some of these shows.
Western Horseman, American Quarter Hourse Journal and
several other prestigious publications have featured Greig’s artwork, as well as numerous other articles and covers on various
publications.
The noted artist founded J. Greig Graphics in 2000. Through
his company he sells and promotes his artworks.
He uses rich tonality, perspective,
and a number of rendering techniques. With this, he achieves the sense of depth
and movement in his drawings.
Jay Greig was born in Carson City,
Nevada in 1980. He holds a Associate of
Arts Degree from the University of Nevada. He graduated with Summa
Cum Laude honors from this university.
